This year the Nanoscience Centre of the CSIR will host the

49^th Annual Conference of the Microscopy Society of Southern Africa (MSSA).

                             The conference will take place at the

Convention Centre of CSIR

in Pretoria from

4-9 December 2011.

Technical Forum

There will be only one themed session this year and one plenary session. Topics for the Technical Forum of MSSA2011 are restricted to new applications in microscopy, new techniques in microscopy, preparation techniques and methods, optimizing of microscope techniques, training and education in microscopy, commercial presentations of new products etc.

Abstracts should be in MS Word Format and should be 150-200 words long. A sample abstract can be viewed here.

Deadline: 5 November 2011.
